The compilation of the parcel

Following a successful registration the ordering of the parcel can immediately be started, but also later, by using the data provided at the registration it is possible to enter and to place an order at any time. Upon placing an order, the system checks the validity of the individual code registered by the user, respectively if the prisoner with the relevant code is entitled to receive parcels (i.e. the monthly limit is not exceeded, having permission for parcel delivery, etc.). In the event that the conditions are not met the system will not permit the placement of order. However in case that the permissions are in order the system gives a green light to compile the parcel.

The parcel can be compiled from the scope of products and the product offer of the prison store approved by the Hungarian Prison Service Headquarters. By clicking the “Products” sign the approved product list shall appear, which can be narrowed to further subcategories (for example product category level: sweets/chocolate). By all products the gross price will be indicated, the gross 5 kg weight and the maximum quantity that can be ordered, provided that there is a restriction pertaining to the relevant product in the House Rules. In the event that the weight of the compiled parcel exceeds the 5 kg maximum weight limit, then the system will indicate that and will not allow to proceed to the “Payment” option. A similar situation occurs when the quantity of a certain item exceeds the maximum amount allowed in the shopping basket. The “Continue” button only becomes active when all conditions are simultaneously met.

Payment for the parcel may be executed by bank card payment or transfer. At this point the invoicing data can still be modified. In the event that the payment has been successful, the system sends a feedback via e-mail (optionally via text message) to the customer, respectively on the relevant interface the summary of the order becomes available. Following this the process of the compilation of the parcel starts, i.e. the parcel will be prepared in the prison store of the penalty institution in which the concerned recipient prisoner is placed. The parcel shall be handed over to the concerned prisoner by the penalty institution within 3 working days from the receipt of the payment amount. The electronic invoice related to the order of the parcel will be sent to the e-mail address provided in the course of the registration.
